This info is worthy of a general posting here, for all to be reminded.

If you receive an e-mail from the Forum Server notifying you of a Personal Message.. it will look like this--->

You have just been sent a personal message by <message author> on SAAC Forum.

The message they sent you was:

<text of the message will be here>

Reply to this Personal Message here: http://www.saacforum.com/index.php?action=pm;sa=send;f=inbox;pmsg=<message number>

PLEASE NOTE TWO important lines in that notification--->

Although it may seem like it makes sense to REPLY to the email.. doing so will NOT deliver your reply to the Sender...
...it will just send a reply to the Notification system of the server...NOT the originator

Please realize that for security reasons, you can ONLY reply to a PM by logging on to the server and going to the Message area, to read and reply.

Simply click on the link at the bottom of the notification to go to the Forum for a reply

Replying to the notification email just sends it down a manhole.

Thanks

Hi,

Can we make outgoing messages save automatically?

I often forget to click that box and lose all traces of my sent messages.

To change your Personal Settings to auto-save Sent PM's--->

Click on PROFILE in the main Horizontal menu
Hover over MODIFY PROFILE.. and click on PERSONAL MESSAGING

Near the bottom, locate the text "Save a copy of each personal message in my sent items by default."

...and check the box, then...

click on CHANGE PROFILE in the lower right to save your changes.
