Rear Backing Plate Substitution

Does anyone know off hand which other 9" Ford backing plates are acceptable substitutes for the original KH units found on the '66 Shelbys?  Mine are useable but severely rusted as my car spent time on the East coast.  I'm actually doing a rear brake job now.  What fun!  I am not concerned about originality at this point as this car is strictly a driver.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks much!

There are other correct backing plates that don't have the KH markings. Wagner, Bendix and I think even a Bosch.

Thanks, Tim!  I can get a nice set of '68 Fairlane/Torino plates at a good price.  Could I use those without issue?  Thanks!

As long as they are for 10x 2 1/2" brakes. I have both KH and Wagner here so I can get you engineering #'s if needed

and you reuse your 2 1/2 inch sized shoe retainer pins.

^^^  Thanks!  I purchased all new, correct brake hardware, including the 2-1/2" pins, from Virginia Mustang.  I'm all set to go,  I just ordered new rear brake lines also as mine are in pretty bad shape with turned & rusty fittings.  Always something to slow down the job!
