I use to get it at Radio Shack. I think I have gotten it before at NAPA. It has been awhile since I needed any so I can't say for sure.

The local parts store occasionally gets a display of it.  There has to be others.  I will say I've seen it on motorcycles, so, maybe the Harley dealer?

It's universal stuff. Lowes and HD have it in the electrical wiring section.

The spiral wrap was only used on the early cars.  A car with the spiral wrap on the front amp gauge wiring should also have the unwrapped wires on the taillight harness in the trunk. If not then and If the goal is assemblyline correctness I would consider reevaluating which area wiring cover is correct (under hood or trunk) and which is not for the given car.

NPD Has it in their catalog, any size you want.

If anyone can find the clear/white plastic wire loom on the NPD catalog, could you please pass along a part number?   If gone through it and called as well, but no luck.
My local Napa dealer has it, but only in black.  No luck at Home Depot as well.

Jim-
How much do you need?  I've got a spool of the stuff in 1/4 inch which, as you know, expands to accommodate a larger wire bundle.

(This stuff was created and patented by AMP Incorporated (now TYCO Electronics) and went by the trademark SPIRAP. I believe they sold the rights to T&B.  It's usually found in various diameters in both black and white at electronics distributors.)
