Welcome

Tough to say 'how many are still out there'.

I also have a G.T.500 4speed FB and my Marti report shows 405 built with the 428/4speed out of 1020 G.T.500 built in 68.

Previously owned:
1968 Shelby GT500 Gold Concourse
1973 Cougar
1968 Mustang coupe
1966 Mustang 4 speed vert
1965 Mustang coupe
1968 Cougar
1971 Montego
1968 Torino GT
1966 GT350H clone

The rate of cars that still exist is likely near 85%. Thats an educated guess. You will not find an accurate number because there is no way to determine exactly.

If you are asking how many GT500 fastbacks were originally 4 speeds, I think Chris' number of 405 is accurate

This might be a stretch but I'm gonna ask... Any idea how many were Acapulco Blue with parchment interiors? If not known, a possible (approximate)?

Its likely single digits, once you wash out the statistics to the fifth level of features, the numbers thin very fast.

That's why "1 of 1" is nothing more than a marketing ploy

And the results of that is often proof of how unpopular the combination was when new  ::)

I was looking for a price point and rarity of a 68 GT 500KR VERT 4 gear, with or without AC. Acapulco Blue, white top white interior. Thanks in advance! :)
