Really . I clicked on sellers other auctions and looked at several of the other auctions he has.  He has a auction on a original 67 click pin kit that is fake . first off they are not assemblyline given the tyoe of eyelet at the end of the lanyard. Second the eyelets don't even match each other  besides being wrong. He try's to hide that fake in the coiled up lanyards.    https://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-mustang-shelby-GT500-GT350-NOS-hood-pin-latch-kit-with-lynyards/333365312328 . Another bogus auction is with supposed NOS 67 GT500 emblems which he has a repro gas cap emblem as part of a original set . https://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-mustang-shelby-gt500-NOS-emblem-set-original-fomoco-428-police-interceptor/333293144772  . Then a claimed original 67 GT350 used emblem set in which the dash emblem is repro and the fender emblem is a faded genuine.  https://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-shelby-cobra-mustang-gt350-used-fender-emblem-and-grille-original-fomoco/333158330464  .  I didn't investigate any farther.

How this dolt maintains 100% feedback is beyond me. Sadly I have been sucked in too. The vacuum secondary covers would be correct for the early '63 427, but not a Shelby or anything else. No balance tubes. Once you're 45 days out there's nothing you can do to these crooks.

It is possible to start a Facebook page dedicated to calling him out. Any searches would lead people there if all his eBay names are in the title of the page.

I know he is on there so he would definitely see it. Every bogus listing could be shown and debunked for all to see.

Not a bad idea, it's does involve work on our part but hey if it stops this guy ripping people off and diluting the Shelby brand I'll support it

Considering that FB has little to no regard to what is posted, we wouldn't have to worry about libel.

Your assuming people would check facebook. Many would not, but it might be good to consolidate the info.

As I unetstand it, you only have to worry about libel if you posting things that are untrue.

It's all about search engine algorithms. Start it, develop links, etc and the FB page will get hits.
We would not have a libel issue, but Pookie and the Pookie wannabes would cry foul, much the same way Soccer players go down with the slightest touch.

Why not just post these fake parts ads to the "Shelby Group" on Facebook?  They already have over 6,400 members.  Might get quicker results than starting a new group from scratch.  A lot of folks check their FB accounts on their phones at all times throughout the day.  The site is probably checked on a constant basis than most other apps on people's phones these days.

By the way, I report fraud through Ebay on all of these auctions and they just keep on running.   Obviously Ebay doesn't care.
