Does anyone have a C6 dipstick tube picture?

I found a completed auction of one on eBay that appears to be correct.

There are two holes in the back face of the head, can anyone confirm which is correct for the mounting tab?

The higher inboard or the lower outboard?

Never seen one with two mounting points.  Seems odd IMHO

Could one of them  have been added or is this another application. Just never seen any dip stick tube with a choice

At least one of the pictures I have shows a single hole I believe  Other years also show single mounting hole for head attachment

I know the Mustang assembly manual is not always correct for the Shelby's, but it appears to show the outer bolt hole in the head is used to attach the dipstick tube. Mike

Jeff, just one mounting point, but there are two threaded holes in the back face of the cylinder head. Was looking for clarification there...

Thanks Mike

This is the transmission with dipstick from car #02267 (GT500KR)taken 29-30 years ago. Pete the multiple holes in the ends of the cylinder heads are for mounting accessories such as P/S pumps, A/C brackets, Alternators, Smog pumps, ground straps, A/T dipstick tubes, ect. The back of the right cylinder head is the same as the front of the left cylinder head. There is no left or right cylinder heads on these OHV FE engines.

I thought the consensus of opinion was that that the CJ dipstick was yellow and the NON CJ was black. Are you saying that the KR dipstick is black also?
Yes. I haven't seen anything but black on a KR. I haven't seen them all though.

Way back when I needed to improve a 500 C6 tube, I discovered the yellow tube mounting tab was enough different to not fit when all was installed.  Was told then that yellow was B body application.  Further 500 examples were always black; my focus was on PI engine, not CJ.

Just to add, my 68 1\2 Torino CJ car built May 11, 1968 with its original VIN stamped transmission (original engine long gone) had a black dipstick tube as does my friends 68 1\2 Cyclone CJ cars (unrestored originals) built in early July.
