66 GT350 photo with MFG plate

I just came across this really sharp B&W photo that appears to be vintage '66 from the correct tires, MFG plate, and overall background.

The rocker panel has the same paint scrapes as we see on 5r539 (the 1967 Lemans raced R model) in vintage photos.
I've never seen this area so scraped up on any other car until this photo showed up.
(edit; photo was found on the highdef forum page 1004, posted by Lee Stewart)

WOW! Thanks for sharing this great photo with us.

It looks like a straight line going all the way across almost as if they put masking tape on there to protect against it and that is what is damaged

Thanks for sharing. First time I've seen that picture. Think I might have a guess about which car it might be but not ready to post it at this moment

Thanks again

Rear portion of side stripe shows they didn't always get them straight.

What a great pic!  And, you're correct, it's extremely clear.

Thanks!

Jeff, can you post that other picture that we have of the car and see if it looks the same ? Everything lines up. Early 66 white 10 spokes and the manufacturers plate. Certainly goes with it
Too bad we can't see under the hood or interior
