Any ideas on the # on this '66 at the Course de Cote du col Bayard hill climb,  France I think ? in '69.

Wolfgang on ponysite.de probably has the answer   ;)

Mike
Driver Jean Deroudille acc. to the Autodiva.FR experts. Sold to a Doc in Dijon in 1969/70.
Could be either 6S465, the 3rd car sent to Intersport/Paris or 6S397/6S398. These ones were raced in France.

"Orange Blossom Special" I think this is at Sebring 19?? looks like the Quintana '68 in the background. I believe there was a '69 or

'70 version of this car "Orange Blossom"  as well ?

Found it, it's a '70 Boss 9, was this one run in period, or is a more current build ?

Ford vs Ferrari  ;) any idea on the GT350 ? the car on the left is A Ferrari P4 Can-Am, raced in '67-'68 with I think factory support,

then in private hands. Could it be Cumberland ?

^^^ Thanks 1109RWHP!

That is from the June '68 issue of Stock Car Racing.

We've got Tiny Lund and Swede Savage (love that name!) on the front row of the 1968 Sandhill 250, Rockingham NC.

Cougars finished 1-2-3 that day, with eventual series champion Lund coming in first.

Here's a fun action shot from my copy of the November 1967 issue of Sports Car Graphic.

Looks like it was a rough day for the cars at the Marlboro Trans-Am race.

propayne, great posts with the Cougars !  here's the grid at Cumberland in '64, Mustang Pace Car and a number of Cobras !

looks similar terrain to my previous post here #78, of the Ferrari & GT350 on the grid.

Mike

That's Charlie Kemp's R model. I don't believe he went as far north as Cumberland.
