Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the written narrative...there's a second video that goes into how the movie was filmed, plus interviews with Alex Gurney, A.J. Baime, etc.

Nice piece, and really great to see TV news actually spend the time fleshing out a story.

So glad they had a classic Shelby on hand in the studio.  If you aren't excited by this movie, then it's time to take your pulse and make  sure you're not dead.

Very nice article. The film is going to do well.

This term of calling Shelby an automotive designer makes me wince a little though. Granted it's a little tricky to actually define him in just one term. Maybe an automotive visionary is better?

What do you think?

More like a salesman... The gift of gab , slow hand luke , that AAH SHUCKS do you think that will work attitude. Women loved him, men were drawn to him. He wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed but one thing for sure he surrounded himself with the best there was, quick witted , sharp tongued, and endless ideas. Just what the automotive world needed at that time.

Love the vintage shots of the cobra being slid through the corners!

Love the Red GOLD stripped Shelby GT 350.  Most of the time they only show the White and Blue stripped GT350's. If I was a guessing person I CBS staff person owned the Shelby.    Just my opinion.

I just watched again and the GT350 at the beginning has a license plate frame that reads "East End Restorations." Their website says they specialize in Shelby and Mustang restoration and are located in New York.
