One of my customers had this in his collection of parts. he ordered it from Ford to put in his Boss 302  (thats what we did back in the day)   and never installed it.  Its as pretty as the day it was made.  still has the original new Fomoco points in it.  First $895 plus the ride.  jim@shelbyparts.com   920 434 3645    paypal friends and family preferred but will take CC

The idea of emissions' equipment on vehicles, particularly for the performance minded individuals, was not met with greatest appreciation at the time, and even before Ford suggested such for their "Off-Road" performance modification, it was already being done to convert the cars to the configuration that they "should have been" if not for governmental intervention.       >:(

It was, to those who understood the units' function, easier (maybe that includes cheaper, as I was often short by the end of the week ::)) to recurve the advance sums (a requirement for best performance with either distributor anyway), remove and toss the vacuum dashpot, and install a screw and spacer locating stationary the breaker plate, in the original BOSS unit.         ;)
