As I approach my 40th year as a SAAC member I was thinking wouldn't it be neat that for every decade that you're a member you would get a special member decal with maybe just a simple rocker, top or bottom or both, added to the standard SAAC decal that would signify 10 year member, 20 year member, etc. ...What do you folks think?

Kind of cool.  Seen membership longevity pins like that.

At the phone company, if you left then came back, after five years they would bridge your service.
So if you started in '82, left in '92 and came back in 2000, in 2005 you would jump from 5 years to 15 years. That would give you 30 years in 2020.
And you thought there would be no math in the SAAC forum. ::)

So now we are going to distinguish the "Better" members from the "not so great" members? Hmmm, I too was a member in the 80's and left it when I had no cars, but re-joined it when I got a car back. I was a "eagle eye" spotter many times in the 80's, maybe each eagle eye reporting should add 2 years to my membership this making me a member for over 50 years!

Maybe there should be SAAC Merit badges like the Boy Scouts have and we can carry that over into qualification badges like the military has? Instead of a Purple heart we could have a purple foot where you dropped your engine on? Are you Daytonna Coupe qualified? Can you drive a manual or only an automatic? Have you driven over 200? Did you get flashed by a slut while driving your Shelby? Jee-ze! Really?  :o

Nice idea, don't get your hopes up, SAAC is a ship adrift in the ocean.....

That's why I stayed at the phone company from 1972-2013 just so I wouldn't have to do the math... :D  ;D

How about everyone get their own badge for how many days they were a member? Mine would be 365, but again I was a member through the 80's so I can qualify for a much higher number 365 times 10 years is 3650, plus this 365 would make it 4015, is that right my badge would say member for 4015 days? Hahaha!

She sat on the right front fender and  dimpled it! Orgasms are momentary. Dimples last forever! :o
