Do 65 and 66 radio deletes look the same from the front, or do they differ somehow other than the part number on the back? Picture of a 65 vs 66 would be great, if they look different.

they are different. the upper dash pad drops down farther on one year (around the radio area.) phred

They are different. The 65 type has sharp upper corners while the 66 has
rounded upper corners.

And if you try to install a 65 into a 66, you are going to have issues and it will not look right.  I am not sure if it can even be installed without big interference's with the dash pad.

You can easily install a 66 into a 65.  You will have to decide if it looks good or not.
