  The "class " designation is for AHRA or American Hot Rod Association, now defunct. AHRA featured more racer oriented classes than NHRA and was a strong rival into the '70s until it fizzled in the early 80's  I held a class record for 1 day in that association. Not even long enough to be recorded in a book LOL That Cobra IIRC was a several time winner of major events.
