Fantastic shots and thanks for sharing. I wonder what the axe was used for?
Chop down the trees that were growing around the car? Sure doesn't appear to be an indoor barn find.

Maybe the owner was offended by someone posting his car on the "Rotting Musclecars and Old Tin" group?  :o

Rotting Muscle Cars and Old Tin. Gotta love the impact such a title might have. It does have lunch to it.
"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

They could have named the site;

The Oxidation and Tetanus Depository

Bottom line is that the barn find was found and rescued and begin its frog to prince transformation in its new home.  At least it was spared the crusher and that is good news. 8)
Just nuts.

FL SAAC

Don I would make safe for driving and minimal rust repairs.  Drive and enjoy looking at others as I park next to their new or restored cars. One last thing I would do is put a personal tag on it ... YUR-TEROR
