Here's an ad for Carroll Shelby Sports cars, announcing  him as distributor of Listers.  8)

Very cool - I've certainly never seen that before.

Will be interesting to see how much content can be dug up in pre-Cobra Shelby adverts!

I don't believe I have any in my materials.

Thanks for posting that, do you know the year and/or the publication?

propayne & JD, I will see if I can find out what year and what publication that ad was from, it was a find on another forum.

Here's a photo of Carroll Shelby Sports Cars from 1957, he was sharing the space with Jim Hall (the Chaparral-Chevy guy) at that

time.

I've changed the subject heading to be more inclusive as well.

Thanks, I remember seeing another photo of the exterior of that business and about the parties that took place, it might have been in that Biography on Shelby.  I'll look when I get back to my files.

I remember this building. I think it was torn down in the early 1990's. Yale Blvd had its name changed to SMU Blvd around the same time. The street looks completely different now except Milo Butterfingers is still there.

Love that "Carroll Shelby RACE TESTED" graphic with the sport car (as Shelby used to say) and bib overalls!

Dan, thanks for posting the page from the Moon Equipped catalog, hasn't Shelby's involvement with the Corvair has been brought

up here before some where ?

I'm with propayne on the the "Race Tested" logo, any chance you could do a better scan of just the logo and post it here ?

If can find the book. I captured that image years ago.  For about ten years I asked around, sent inquires out, and watched eBay® looking for a red metal flake wheel to show up for sale. The only "Shelby" one I have ever seen for sale was one of the dished models in green metal flake. There is no telling which manufacturer actually produced them as multiple  companies made their own versions in the 1960s.

Royce, here's a couple of photos from 2008, of the Shelby dealership on Yale (now SMU blvd.) you can still see the logo on the

wall, that should be saved some how !

Wow, great photo!  Amazing that it hasn't been painted over in all the years since CS was there.

Does it still exist?
