Wow, great photo!  Amazing that it hasn't been painted over in all the years since CS was there.

Does it still exist?

Royce in post #8   was right with his thought it was torn down sadly, now occupied by the SMU East Campus building, at the intersection on  the far right of the law office with the orange band in the grab from Google maps.

^^^ LOL! I've always loved hearing Shelby say it that way.

And going back to that "Carroll Shelby RACE TESTED" logo graphic.

Along with all of his other accomplishments, I'd like to make note of how professional Shelby's marketing/advertising/promotional graphics always were.

That can be very important - especially when you are starting out and trying to establish a new business.

Undoubtably, one of Shelby's greatest attributes was attracting top talent, recognizing that talent and letting them do their thing.

Long before "Corporate Branding" was a term, people like Pete Brock provided Shelby American with a strong, professional graphic identity that not only has held up all of these years but is still being referenced by people like Ford.

Thanks Dan!

Took me a moment to figure out the "bib overalls" in the smaller one you posted earlier.

Wonder who Shelby tapped to create this? Maybe someone at Moon helped out?

I mean, the Moon Eyes logo is one of THE most iconic logos of all-time!

I remember as a kid a model wasn't complete until you put the Moon Eyes decal on it  8)

You are welcome.

Going through racing and accessory catalogs printed before 1965 is very interesting.  I do so because the Cobra era started in 1962 and early Cobras did get some parts from the companies already well established and advertising.

One subject of interest is things like small hardware. Today you might order a two pack online. Back then you might have mail ordered assorted bits by the pound.

Love learning and love sharing what little I have to offer.

This is what it is all about to me.
