Had a break in the rain here in L.A. so I took my 67 out....Something about running a big block through the gears offered a welcome distraction from our new reality..Driving stick required an interactivity that was refreshing....Plus ,even though it's only been 3 weeks,I forgot how skiboat like that thing feels with all that torque.I recommend it.Added bonuses were light traffic and that I couldn't possibly be more "socially isolated" in my comfortweave and brushed aluminum cocoon.A nice break(plus I saw zero cops which made things "less stressful " for sure)Stay safe.

It was a pretty nice day here in eastern PA and since we needed a few things i decided to turn the 500 into a grocery getter.  Felt good to have it out on the road for a couple of hours.  Didn't need a jacket, just a T-shirt and drove with the windows open.  I did have to fill it up but only paid $3.219 a gallon for Sunoco 93.  Still can't understand why everyone is hording paper products.  Do they think all the paper plants are going to shut down?  But it did feel good to go through the gears even if I never got it into 5th (TKO600).  I love driving that dinosaur.

I've been driving as much as possible this week, and it's been an incredible release / relief.  Thank the Lord for these amazing cars!

I need to do the same.  I still have to go into the office tomorrow to meet a potential client.  Illinois has declared lawyers as essential services.  LOL!  Maybe piano teachers should be included in that as well.  The exceptions list is so long the exceptions practically swallow the rule.

Enjoying my drives here.  No slow moving, sight seeing visitors or tour buses.  Roads are open and fun. As long as the gas stations stay open and there is no stay in place rule (yet), rides are fun.

Starting to see spring in E TN..... took mine out for a little 20 mile loop Thursday afternoon before the rains returned.

Always a good thing to be able to exercise the left leg and right shoulder simultaneously.

Luckily no salt use down here.... you may taste the pickle juice though !

I'm the same way.... roads have to be perfectly dry before my cars pull out.

Bob and Fran I think the road crews are using a combination of 5% salt mixed with Beet juice to keep the roads clear. Far less detrimental to vegetation, roads and cars and far cheaper to municipalities.
In any case I'm ready for spring which is daily showing strong signs of coming on. I may need therapy if this virus keeps causing the cancellation of racing, Sebring and Road Atlanta cancelled.
