I am looking for an original thermostat housing and vacuum advance for my 1968 GT350.  Please let me know what you have.

Thank you,

Corey

Which one do you want? A 4 speed uses the same one as a CJ.

Do you want a correct date coded one?

Follow my advice- ignore Doug. He is not well

A 302 thermostat housing is different from a 428 housing

You mean I got taken again? I want my money back.

Post a picture. I want to see what I've got.

That engine has no distributor. My engine has one. I want a picture of an engine with a distributor!

I'll take a picture of the vacuum advance mechanisms I have later. To me they look the same as the CJ unit.

Agreed on the thermostat housing and tree.

You are correct the vacuum advance is the same

Only on the 4 spd though. The 302 automatic vacuum can is entirely different.

I have two of the 4 speed housings. I think I can cosmetically save them by vapor blasting and then clear coating the steel housing?

I don't know how else to keep it from oxidizing.

I was actually surprised to find that the vacuum advance calibration of the two engines is the same. I didn't expect that.

Incidentally, my vacuum tree has traces of blue overspray on the hex.

4spds are dusl vacuum advance, autos are single pull, the exception is the GT500, those are all single vacuums

I do not require a correct date code but it is always a plus. My car is Feb 12. But again not a hard requirement.

We have one vacuum advance here. CORRECT $225 . Looks NOS.

Just to be crystal clear are looking for a thermostat housing and a distributor vacuum advance or thermostat housing and the vacuum switch that goes in the thermostat housing?

Maybe i should rebuild that engine one of these days
Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .
