Interesting. They show a current bid and an asking $ figure. Are they telling us what the reserve is?

JD

I noticed that too, not sure if that is a "new" thing or what

Duh on my part - OK that is the equivalent of the auctioneer asking for the next increment up - thanks for the help (next week I learn to read)

Thoughts on final number?  I have to say the pictures are very honest.  They could have left most of the imperfections out of the photos, but that is admirable that they didn't.

Thanks,

Hello,

Do any of you know how to save these photos?  I have tried unsuccessfully.  Please let me know if you can save them and how you did it.

Thanks,
Eric

When they've not allowed for copying/downloading as in this instance you can typically do the following - Hope you all can make sense of this:

If you're using a PC (not phone) there is a button/function key at the top right that is labeled "prt sc" press that and it takes a screen-grab/photo of your desktop,

then open your photo imaging/reader/display program ("Paint" is typically on most PC's) open that program and then open/create a NEW file (blank page) and then press the "ctrl" button lower left and also the "V" button at the same time - that will paste the image onto the new document/image.

then crop as it will have copied your entire showing desktop (probably more than you wanted) and the "Save As" and then name the file you've created and then navigate to where you want to save it or create "New Folder" name and save.

(There must be a you tube video or 20 that demonstrate this)

Yes, seems Bring-A-Trailer (BaT) has begun to influence other auction sites as well.

Just goes to show you how unsophisticated I am.   :P

Sold for a buck fifteen. Seems like a great buy to me.

What's tough is that inspecting a car at auction prior to sale right now must be a nightmare.  I can't imagine people have easy access to look over a car before they buy it.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone is using an inspector prior to an auction purchase.
Nothing beats a classic!

What's interesting is that the description does not state that the car has any of its original drive train.  However, it's not a bad looking car!

The 2011 registry has an informative summary of the history in the footnotes!

KR Convertible

Sadly they still charge 10% buyers premium, even though they don't have the expense of hosting on site.  BaT charges 5% with a $5000 cap.
