Coralsnake

It's never copied, it's updated quarterly and it's accurate 1968 / 1969 Shelby information.

There are no advertisements and no bull crap.  Just hundreds of pages of great stuff, because I believe basic Shelby information should be free, No one has given away more.

Thanks to all those continue to contribute.

Thanks Pete,

You should be so proud of what you have put together at thecoralsnake.com and the knowledge you continually share.  It was a pleasure meeting you in 2017 at SAAC at Indianapolis.

Well for PETES sake (haha)  its been 20 years congrads and thanks for helping all them 68 guys all these years. I am old school and never started getting on a computer until nate showed me how about 13 years ago and I got my first laptop 8 years ago and still picking board with 1 finger and spelling wrong yet but slowing learning as I never typed since hy skool.  Pete on the 69 Shelby great info u have on coralsnake site the s9ms rear leaf springs have white color code on the front eyelet area that's hard to see unless u remove the spring. I have a 69 gt500 drag pack auto vert build sheet and if u need the front spring color code it should be the same gold pink.  On the front big suspension upper a arm change ford went back to the non-cutback arms same as b2 and b9 arms and I think the reason ford did was the cracking around 2 front rivets from cutbacks removeing too much metal to clear the 68 1/2 cj mustang new wider f-70-14 tires and the wider yet new 69 Shelby and boss f-60-15 tires were taller rims so clearance wasn't a problem and ford needed the extra metal supporting the balljoint area so ford went back to the stronger noncutback type uppers then in 70 ford changed over to the 3 rivet type.

In an unrelated thread, I gave a brief (yeah right, I can't describe anything briefly) recap of my efforts to build a engine for my '68 GT500 convertible. Between 1985 and 2001 I had to put my car in mothballs till my wife and I bought our permanent house and raised our children. In 2001, we moved to our permanent house and the kids were being raised. Also in 2001, I received permission from my wife that I could divert some income to be invested in the Shelby.

While I was saving money in my "Shelby account," I was also looking for information. I was in heaven when I found your coralsnake.com, "The Best 1968 Shelby..." website. Your tagline was catchy and prophetic. Yours is still the Best 1968 Shelby website any one will ever find.

Thanks for all you do for this hobby.

Steve

Thanks for the updates to your great site, Pete.  I have learned a lot because of you, and continue to learn and enjoy.

I'm not a concours guy, but I do like to know what's "right."  Always more to discover.

The "repairing fiberglass" original illustrations are great.

Hope you keep it up for at least another 20 years.
